We currently require a customer oriented individual to act as Mobile Ambassador. This position is responsible to patrol an assigned area to ensure public compliance with existing parking ordinance while maintaining a high level of professionalism.


  • Patrol properties to maintain safety
  • Maintain close communication with dispatch using two-way radio or cell phone
  • Relay information about incidents or emergencies to appropriate personnel
  • Write warnings and citations for illegally parked vehicles
  • Identify vehicles in violation of parking codes
  • Observe and report hazardous conditions such as missing traffic signs or street markings
  • Observe and report suspicious objects or vehicles
  • Monitor environmental conditions to detect possible hazards (ice, etc.)
  • Use hand-held device to enter and retrieve vehicle information
  • Investigate and answer complaints regarding contested parking citations
  • Prepare and maintain operational records ie: activity logs and contested citations
  • Collect coins from parking meters
  • Maintain assigned equipment
  • Perform simple vehicle maintenance, such as checking oil and report mechanical problems to Supervisor
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Minimum 2-3 years customer service experience

Must Have:

  • Valid class 5F Manitoba drivers license
  • Clean drivers abstract
  • Basic computer skills
  • Able to pass a criminal record check
  • Must be available 2pm – 10pm, Monday to Friday
