Account Manager, North American Production Clients
REPORTING TO: SALES MANAGER, NA PRODUCTION
The Account Manager (AM) plays a key role in ensuring we are consulted first by enterprises seeking
controlled-environment equipment for plant growth. First, the AM delivers effective consultation to clients so
they select us as the best total solution for their next project. Second, the AM effectively coordinates and
communicates with the broader internal team to ensure we deliver on the solution we committed to the client.
Third, the AM seeks new ways to serve our existing clients and add new clients to our portfolio.

level of knowledge regarding the overall process of acquiring, installing and using controlled-environment

This position focuses on supporting North American clients who cultivate plants for sale to the public. These
include primarily clients from the regulated cannabis and plant-made-pharma (PMP) markets.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Ensure the client receives effective consultation for their controlled environment project:
o Understand the broader underlying problem the client is trying to solve, ensuring we can meet
their equipment application needs while adhering to cost, timing, site and other constraints.
o Translate the consultation into clear scope documents for our designers.
Ensure Conviron delivers on our clients’ expectations: Apply the right depth and rigor, depending on
the complexity of the project, to ensure optimal client satisfaction and financial results, including:
o Be the primary contact for the client on their project
o Where applicable, coordinate with the general contractor to ensure project success
o Participate in assessing client and site needs
o Assess project risks and plan accordingly ensuring the customer properly shares responsibility
in the risks
o Produce estimates and plan the entire project
o Participate in, or manage, contract finalization
o Collect customers’ requirements in writing and interpret them
o Eliminate project creep and ensure company is paid for any extra work
o Bringing in subject-matter experts as required to solve challenging problems
