Customer Service Representative – CARSTAR Manitoba – Stonewall, MB

CARSTAR Manitoba is hiring! We are currently seeking a customer service representative (CSR)/administrator to join our dynamic team!

As the first point of contact in the stores, the customer experience representative creates the first impression that customers and visitors will have when the call or walk in to our shops. This person is responsible for creating an environment that promotes friendliness, and a high level of service. As a CSR, you will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the store, and keeping paperwork up to date. You will be responsible for assisting the store managers and techs with keeping performance and productivity within the store at an exemplary level.

Responsibilities would include:

  • Upkeep of overall cleanliness of the store/reception area
  • Booking in customers for repairs
  • Checking in/out customer vehicles
  • Opening new work orders
  • Insurance/MPI claims
  • Retail sales
  • Ordering parts
  • Posting invoices, labour times, and payments into computer
  • Keeping customers up to date with the repair process
  • Preclosing and closing work orders
  • Receive and enter payments into the system
  • Ensuring the deposit book logs are accurate and entered daily
  • Prepare bank deposits
  • Ensuring payroll is completed and submitted by the biweekly schedule
  • Make sure all jobs are closed for the end of the month
  • Assist Shop Manager with other tasks as requested

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in customer service
  • Flexibility to work different shifts
  • Comfortable working on the computer in numerous programs
  • Comfortable working on the phones
  • Experience with MPI policies and procedures considered an asset
  • Experience in the auto body industry an asset
  • Class 5 Drivers license
  • Highly organized
  • Detail orientated
