Our client is in medical services and they are looking for a Facilities Manager to support their Winnipeg locations for a 2-3 month contract with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Your new role

In this Facilities Manager opportunity you will be responsible for work order systems and distributing work orders, establishing standards for the provision of facility services, ensuring safety and environmental standards are adhered to, and managing a small staff. Your duties will also include collaborating with the others on the team by promoting good staff relations, strong team culture, providing leadership, and providing feedback and coaching.

What you’ll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will be someone who will have a 4th class power engineering certificate, minimum 2-5 years facilities management/building operator experience. You must have supervisory or management experience in one of your previous roles, and will need to be proficient in a work order software. To succeed in this role you will be someone who is motivated, a self-starter, able to problem solve and multi-task, and will be assertive and customer service oriented.

What you’ll get in return

This is a 2-3 month contract with a possibility of becoming an permanent position with an established company. This role will be full time hours from Monday Friday and will pay $28-31/hr dependent on experience.
