About Prairie Payments Joint Venture

In response to the rapidly changing payments landscape and the multiyear Payments Canada modernization initiative, the Credit Union Centrals of Alberta, Manitoba (CUCM) and Saskatchewan formed a joint venture known as PPJV on behalf of all prairie credit unions. PPJV resources are in the starting phases of a two year project to move to a payments as a service model with IBM. They are also intent upon streamlining the payments functions between the three Centrals. Their goal is to ensure prairie credit unions are competitive in payments and have access to efficient, cost-effective, modernized payments processing infrastructure.

The project is currently seeking applications for project management professionals. There are two positions on a one-year term.

Program Control Support

The Project Control Support position is responsible for supporting IT and/or business related projects involving multi-disciplinary teams.

You will be responsible for supporting project status reporting, including gathering updates to, and subsequently updating the integrated program project plan. In addition you will assemble the weekly program status report based on input from project leads. You will work to ensure the project documentation repository is maintained and support the change management process. You bring a minimum of two years experience to this role. Ideally your experience includes application development methodologies including Agile, JIRA creation and usage dashboards and MS Project.

The positions that can be located in Calgary, Regina, Winnipeg or Toronto dependent on the successful candidates’ location. Currently work can be done working remotely from home.
